Interview Delfina Martínez Mendiberry , writer and creative consultant, Berlin

Where are you living?
In Berlin, Kreuzberg.

How old you are? (if you don’t mind answering)
29. Im turning 30 on March.

What inspires you?
Beauty in all forms. Sometimes ugliness may inspire me too but when conceived as beauty at the end I guess. Late 60s and 70s where always my obsession. My childhood, existentialism, rock & roll, encounters.

Tell me about what you do
I’m a writer and creative consultant. I recently launched my poem collection “The golden swan” and started running Exquisite Corpse, my brand together with my chef friend Clara that combines honest food and happenings. My nouvelle Lets go to Berghain is on its way. And I always work with fashion, art projects and other creative industries. Right now _Untitled_ bags is one of my latest fascinations.

What’s the structure of a typical day like for you?

I don’t have a fixed routine. My days change according to my activities and I like that. Repetition is boring and boredom depresses. In general terms a basic structure right now would include coffee, asanas, work (meetings, shootings, writing), music and wine.

What are some of your favourite sources for information?
People, books and films.

How does social media influence your life?

In the good and the bad. Memes make me laugh and its easier to contact with people far away. The fact that we are losing so much privacy and becoming more anxious it’s awful. I’m sick of ads listening our conversations.
